Dubai Basketball and KK Čačak 94 Sign Strategic Partnership Memorandum

Dubai Basketball and Serbian basketball club KK Čačak 94 have signed a Memorandum of Strategic and Technical Partnership, establishing a long-term cooperation focused on player development, coaching expertise and the exchange of basketball knowledge between the two organisations.

The partnership will create a framework for collaboration across the development pathway, from the early stages of a young player's basketball journey through to the highest levels of European and international basketball.

As part of the agreement, Dubai Basketball and KK Čačak 94 will work together on the exchange of coaching knowledge, experience and methodologies, professional development opportunities for coaching staff, joint basketball camps, and the systematic development and monitoring of young players.

The partnership will also create opportunities for talented players from Čačak and the surrounding region to gain international experience and explore pathways to continue their careers at higher levels of the game.

For Dubai Basketball, the partnership establishes a long-term player development base in Čačak, Serbia, and the wider region, while KK Čačak 94 will benefit from Dubai Basketball's international experience, coaching expertise and connections across European basketball.

Dubai Basketball President Dejan Kamenjašević said the partnership reflects the organisation's long-term commitment to developing young talent and building meaningful relationships within the region's basketball ecosystem.

“This partnership with KK Čačak 94 is another important step in our long-term vision for Dubai Basketball. Serbia has a great basketball tradition and a strong history of developing players and coaches.”

The Memorandum was signed on behalf of KK Čačak 94 by Club President Nikola Bojović, who highlighted the importance of creating new opportunities for the next generation of players in the region.

“This partnership represents an important step towards our ambition of establishing Čačak 94 as an internationally recognised centre for young player development. Čačak has a great basketball tradition, and it is our responsibility to create the conditions for new generations to carry that tradition forward and make it even stronger,” said Bojović.

“At Dubai Basketball, we have recognised a partner that shares our vision and determination to push boundaries together. Above all, we want to create a pathway for children from Čačak and the surrounding region towards the highest levels of European and international basketball, providing them with the knowledge, professional support and opportunities their talent deserves.”

The agreement further strengthens Dubai Basketball's growing network of international basketball relationships, while creating a platform for continued collaboration between the two organisations in player development and coaching.

Through a shared commitment to long-term development, Dubai Basketball and KK Čačak 94 will work towards creating new opportunities for young players and supporting the continued growth of basketball talent in both Serbia and the UAE.
