REFUNDS POLICY

1.1 Ticket Refunds and Exchanges

Except as provided in Clause 1.2 below, once a Ticket has been purchased, it cannot be refunded or exchanged under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, the following situations:

• The appearance or non-appearance of any particular person (including players, teams, coaches, or entertainers for any post-game events), group, match, activity, or team expected by the ticket holder, whether or not such appearance or non-appearance was advertised or made known prior to the

• Variations in the Event schedule, programme, attractions, or other

• Circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Dubai Basketball, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, acts of government or state (including any national holiday or period of national mourning in the UAE), acts of third parties, war, terrorism, riots, strikes, breakdowns of infrastructure or utilities (such as electricity, water, or gas), civil commotion, or labour

• A change in an Entrant’s or any of their family members’ personal circumstances or health, or

• The inability of an Entrant to enter the United Arab Emirates, or the Emirate of Dubai, due to their inability to obtain (or due to the denial, cancellation, expiration, or revocation of) an entry visa or permit, for any reason

1.2 Exceptions for Refunds

Dubai Basketball is not liable for any loss or damage incurred by an Entrant as a result of an Event (or any part of an Event) being cancelled, postponed, or changed, unless:

• Dubai Basketball issues a specific refund policy for the Event in question, which will be published on the Event information Please check back regularly for updates.

• The dates of the Event are changed after they have been confirmed, and the relevant Entrant has confirmed in writing to Dubai Basketball that they do not wish to attend the Event on the rescheduled

• There is a significant change in the Entrant’s reserved seating arrangements (other than as described in Clause 2), at Dubai Basketball’s sole discretion.

• The Entrant is entitled to a refund under applicable UAE

In the event a refund is approved, the original Ticket must be provided by the Entrant for processing. Dubai Basketball and its affiliates are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from the cancellation, postponement, or alteration of the Event.

1.3 Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Tickets

Dubai Basketball is not obligated to replace Tickets under any circumstances. However, at its sole discretion, Dubai Basketball may agree to replace a Ticket that has been lost, stolen, or damaged, subject to the payment of an administrative fee.

1.4 Non-Purchased Tickets

For clarity, if a Ticket was not purchased from an authorised seller (e.g., if it was complimentary or otherwise provided without monetary exchange), no refund or compensation will be issued in relation to the Ticket under this Clause. Additionally, Dubai Basketball and its affiliates are not liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of the Event (or any part thereof) being cancelled, postponed, or altered in such cases.

1.5 Counterfeit or Stolen Tickets

Dubai Basketball accepts no responsibility for Tickets purchased through unauthorised sources or for counterfeit Tickets. Entrants who are found to be in possession of counterfeit Tickets or Tickets that have been reported as lost or stolen will be denied entry or removed from the Event and may be subject to legal action.
