Dubai Basketball and Mr. Eight Development Announce Three-Year Exclusive Partnership
European-inspired luxury real estate developer joins Dubai Basketball as Exclusive Partner, strengthening the growing bridge between the UAE and Europe
Dubai Basketball has announced a new three-year partnership with Mr. Eight Development, welcoming the Dubai-based European boutique real estate developer as an Exclusive Partner of the franchise.
The partnership brings together two organisations with a shared connection to Europe and Dubai, and a common ambition to build something that reaches beyond the city’s borders. Dubai Basketball is carrying the UAE onto the European sporting stage, while Mr. Eight Development brings its European heritage and design-led approach to one of the world’s most dynamic cities.
As the first and only team from the Gulf to compete in two top European leagues, the EuroLeague and ABA League, Dubai Basketball has established itself as a pioneering force in European basketball. Following its historic ABA League championship triumph in the 2025/26 season, the team enters its second EuroLeague campaign and third ABA League season representing Dubai and the UAE on the continental stage.
Mr. Eight Development shares a similarly international outlook. Based in Dubai, the European boutique developer creates design-led, branded residences and lifestyle-focused residential projects, bringing European architectural sensibility and craftsmanship to the city’s luxury real estate landscape.
As part of the three-year partnership, the Mr. Eight brand will feature on Dubai Basketball’s game jerseys throughout the club’s EuroLeague and ABA League campaigns, as well as across the club’s home games at Coca-Cola Arena and a range of joint initiatives and activities throughout the partnership. With more than 100,000 fans already welcomed through Coca-Cola Arena for Dubai Basketball games, the partnership will give Mr. Eight a prominent presence alongside one of the UAE’s fastest-growing sporting communities, both at home and on the European stage.
Dejan Kamenjašević, President of Dubai Basketball, said about the partnership, “Dubai Basketball belongs to its fans and to this city. Mr. Eight shares our ambition, our European outlook and, importantly, the same pride in representing Dubai. We want partners who believe in where this club is going and want to grow with us. Mr. Eight has made that commitment, and we are very happy to welcome them to the Dubai Basketball family.
“Everyone who embarks on this challenge with us becomes part of our journey, our vision and the legacy we are building for this club and this city. We are proud to welcome Mr. Eight as a partner and look forward to building the future together.”
Emils Daujats, Director at Mr. Eight Development, added “We are inspired by this team. By its character and by the ambition with which it plays. For us, this is a chance to stand beside a club we support ourselves and take pride in as residents of Dubai.”
“We value the trust we have been shown. The Mr. Eight brand will appear on the team’s game jerseys in the EuroLeague and the ABA League, at Coca-Cola Arena, and in the work we do with the club. The home season opens on 24 September against Real Madrid. We are entering this partnership for the long term, and we hope to honour the place we have been trusted with.”
For Mr. Eight Development, the partnership provides a platform to align its European heritage and Dubai presence with one of the city’s fastest-growing international sports properties, connecting its brand with audiences across the UAE and Europe.
The agreement comes ahead of Dubai Basketball’s 2026/27 home season, which officially tips off at Coca-Cola Arena on 24 September against EuroLeague veterans Real Madrid.
